12-18 Yarra Place, South Melbourne This is the premier coffee venue in Australia at the moment. They roast their own coffee and deliver it to you in a very cool space. Quality all the way here. A great representative of venues that are lifting the bar across Australia. Serious latte art too! Maling RoomCnr Maling Rd and Canterbury Rd, Canterbury Another coffee venue really having a good go. Great little street. Make sure you visit Le Bergerie and see Eric at his cheese shop. Batch Espresso
1/320 Carlisle St, Balaclava A more grungy feel than the two cafes mentioned above but aiming for quality espresso. Degraves Espresso
23 Degraves St, Melbourne For those of you who know/remember the amazing Russ Pirie from oxford 130, he now works here and has finished acting school at VCA. This venue is an institution with its old theatre seats and laneway feel. It typifies Melbourne to Clare and Braydon. Mr Tulk
